Mod’s and Atomiser cleaning and maintenance.
Hi, guys! this one is something I find very important in my weekly vape ritual and it’s something we should all take a little time for no matter how novice or advanced we are in our vape journey.
Clean and well cared for mods are safer, last longer and look good also. It’s simple fast and easy.
Things you will need for your mods and 510 pins on atomiser
-cotton ear buds.
-Isopropyl Alcohol/ classes cleaner available at chemist or Bunnings.
-2 in one oil/ WD40 from a hardware or auto store.
Step 1- Now spray some of the alcohol onto the cotton bud and use it to wipe out the 510 connectors and the pin on your TANK/RDA you will see the black come off easy keep going till the cotton bud stays clean, the alcohol can also be used to clean the metal contact points inside your mod if they need a clean. Any mods that screw together do this with both sides of the threads. Always make sure your mod is off and never spray the Isopropyl alcohol directly on your mod as it’s alcohol it dries fast ao prevents rust or moisture damage.
Step 2- use a cotton bud spray on a little of the wd40 and wipe on any threads 510 connection, 510 pin and if you have a tube all the threads to help them clean, smooth and spinning nicely.
Cleaning your tanks/rda/rdta.
-Remove your coils and sit in hot water for a few mins then sit to dry no soap or anything needed just warm water.
Keeping your rebuildable coils clean is also simple.
-pull out cotton and rinse the deck under warm water. A little wire brush, old toothbrush or even a mascara brush is great just ask the Mrs first to avoid her wrath. While the coils are wet give them a good brush then dry burn them and repeat if needed.
Last one I promise
Cleaning your mods outside as there are so many different types out there I have just put a small list of products and what is safe always use a soft towel to clean and polish.
-Brasso- copper and brass
-Purple polish – stainless and aluminium
-Coconut oil- this is a little secret this stuff is amazing and cheap it cleans and polishes so much.
Paint, Stabwood, resin, anodised metal even the Asmodus satin touch mods, usually found in the Asian or organic supermarket section.
So enjoy these easy tips look forward to seeing all those clean shiny mods
